• T45 Carbon Blank: The rod's core is built with Shimano's T45 construction, using graphite tape rolled at a linear 45-degree angle and reinforced with opposing sheets. This results in a lightweight, sensitive blank with rapid recovery, crucial for effective lure work and detecting subtle bites.
• Custom Winn Grips: The Blackout rod features polymer Winn Grips, providing a unique, tacky texture for superior grip even when wet or covered in fish slime, enhancing comfort and control during long fishing sessions.
• Fuji Alconite K-Frame Guides: Fitted with Fuji Alconite K-Frame guides, designed to shed tangles, which is critical when using braided lines in windy conditions, ensuring smooth line flow.
• Fuji Soft-Touch Reel Seat: Ensures enhanced comfort and a secure reel fit during extended casting and retrieving sessions.
• Stealth Aesthetics: The rod's matte black finish reduces glare, helping to prevent spooking fish in shallow or clear water.
• Corrosion Resistant Bearings: The Genpu XT 200PG reel incorporates Shimano S A-RB bearings, specially shielded to protect against salt and sand, ensuring peak performance and longevity in harsh marine environments.
• Enhanced Casting Performance: The innovative SUPER FREE SPOOL system dramatically reduces friction on the spool shaft, contributing to longer casting distances and overall improved operational efficiency.
• Lightweight & Durable Construction: Crafted with a CI4+ body material, the reel offers exceptional strength and rigidity while maintaining a lightweight profile for comfortable handling.
• Optimised Gear Ratio: A 5.5:1 gear ratio provides precise control and a retrieve per crank of 59cm, allowing for efficient line management and powerful retrieval.
