Nikon KeyMission 170 Ultra-Wide 4K UHD Action Camera

The Nikon KeyMission 170 is a premium, high-performance 4K action camera designed for outdoor enthusiasts, content creators, and adventurers who demand exceptional video capture in challenging conditions. This compact powerhouse delivers an immersive, ultra-wide 170-degree field of view through legendary Nikon optics, offering a wealth of professional-grade recording features within a robust, pocket-sized housing.

Unlike many action cameras that rely on bulky external plastic cases—which can muffle audio and affect lens clarity—the KeyMission 170 features a native, rugged architecture. Out of the box, it is fully waterproof, shockproof, freezeproof, and dustproof. This allows you to capture raw, crisp 4K Ultra HD video and high-resolution stills with completely unobstructed stereo audio, whether diving amongst coastal reef breaks, navigating muddy downhill mountain bike tracks, or carving through sub-zero alpine powder.

• Elite 170-Degree NIKKOR Ultra-Wide Glass: Equipped with a premium, fixed-focal-length f/2.8 NIKKOR lens. The extreme 170-degree perspective mirrors human peripheral vision, enabling you to capture sweeping dramatic landscapes and first-person POV sequences with breathtaking structural depth.

• Stunning 4K UHD & High-Speed Frame Rates: Records crystal-clear Ultra HD 4K video at 30/25 fps for high-fidelity master footage. For fast-paced action sequences, it can record Full HD 1080p at 120 fps for fluid 4x slow-motion playback, or 720p HD at 240 fps for cinematic 8x super-slow-motion analysis.

• Naked Ruggedisation (No Housing Required): Built to shrug off the elements natively. It features structural JIS/IEC Class 8 waterproofing down to 10 metres (33 feet) for up to 60 minutes, MIL-STD 810F Method 516.5 shockproofing against drops up to 2 metres (6.6 feet), structural dustproofing (IP6X), and freeze resistance down to -10 degrees Celsius (14 degrees Fahrenheit).

• Electronic Vibration Reduction (e-VR): Integrates an advanced in-camera electronic stabiliser for 1080p and 720p capture. The e-VR algorithm rapidly counters erratic camera shakes, vibrations, and hand jitters, producing smooth, stabilised, broadcast-ready footage directly onto the memory card.

• Integrated 1.5-Inch Rear LCD Monitor: Features a bright, 345,000-dot TFT display on the back panel. This eliminates blind shooting by allowing you to perfectly frame your shots, quickly adjust menu parameters, and immediately review your high-speed footage right in the field.

• SnapBridge 360/170 Wireless Ecosystem: Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity link seamlessly with your iOS or Android smartphone via the SnapBridge app. This enables seamless remote control, live-view monitoring, and automatic background image transfers for instant social media sharing.

• Creative Capture Modes: Comes standard with specialised automated modes, including Time-Lapse Movie for compressing long-duration events like sunrises or star trails, and Loop Recording to function as a high-end adventure dashcam.
