Catch Freestyle Kabura Jig 60gm

The Catch Freestyle Kabura Jig 60gm is a highly effective slow-jigging lure, meticulously engineered with advanced Japanese technology to entice a wide range of species, particularly when fishing conditions are challenging. Its proven design makes it a top choice for anglers seeking to improve their success rates, even with wary fish.

This innovative jig features a unique free-sliding head that separates from the hooks once a fish strikes. This intelligent "no leverage" system prevents the fish from using the weight of the lure to dislodge the hooks, significantly increasing your chances of a successful catch. It's renowned for its ability to attract Snapper, Kingfish, Gurnard, John Dory, and Trevally.

• No Leverage Sliding System: The lead head is not fixed to the hook, allowing it to slide freely up the line when a fish is hooked. This design eliminates the leverage a fish can exert, ensuring it fights only the small, sharp hooks and drastically reducing the likelihood of pulled hooks.
• "Do Nothing" Action: Designed for effortless use by anglers of all skill levels, this lure's hydrodynamic head creates a captivating wobble during both descent and retrieve. Simply drop it to the desired depth and retrieve it slowly; no complex mechanical jigging is required to achieve its enticing action.
• UV & Glow Technology: Utilising high-quality, vibrant paints with potent UV and Glow properties, the Catch Freestyle Kabura stands out in deep or murky water. This enhanced visibility is crucial for attracting fish in various light conditions and depths.
• High-Quality Components: Each jig is rigged with strong Japanese Owner® Hooks and durable assist cord. These incredibly sharp hooks are specifically engineered to securely snag the corner of a fish's mouth, ensuring a solid hook-set.

The 60gm weight of this Kabura makes it an excellent all-rounder for inshore fishing, performing exceptionally well in depths ranging from 20m to 50m. It proves highly effective in harbour channels or during light drift conditions offshore, making it ideal for targeting popular species. For optimal results, drop the Kabura to the sea floor, take one slow wind of the handle, then pause. Slowly wind it up 5-10 metres off the bottom, then drop it back down. When you feel bites, continue to wind slowly until your rod fully loads with the weight of the fish, as striking too early can pull the lure away.
