Elevate your finesse fishing experience with the Abu Garcia Veritas 782UL Spin Rod and Okuma Inspira C2000A Spinning Reel combo. This meticulously matched setup is engineered for anglers who demand unparalleled sensitivity, precise casting, and lightweight control when targeting species with ultra-light lures. Whether you are expertly twitching micro-jigs in clear canals, presenting small soft baits for elusive backcountry trout, or enticing light estuarine species, this finely tuned rig provides the critical feedback needed to detect the subtlest of bites and ensure successful hook-sets. This combo brings together the renowned performance of Abu Garcia rods with the advanced engineering of Okuma reels, offering a superior alternative to individual components for a truly balanced fishing experience.

The Abu Garcia Veritas 782UL (Ultra-Light) rod, a standout in its class, forms the backbone of this combo. Crafted from a highly responsive 30-Ton Extra High Density Graphite blank, it delivers a crisp, fast action that transmits even the faintest taps directly to your hand. Its extended 7 foot 8 inch length provides a significant mechanical advantage, enabling anglers to cast tiny, lightweight lures to impressive distances, crucial for covering more water in open environments. Despite its reach, the rod remains exceptionally balanced and lightweight, significantly reducing wrist fatigue during prolonged casting and retrieving sessions.

Complementing the Veritas rod is the Okuma Inspira C2000A spinning reel, celebrated for its advanced construction and smooth operation. The Inspira series features TCA (Torsion Control Armor), a revolutionary dual-arm C-40X long-strand carbon fibre frame that offers extraordinary strength-to-weight ratio and resists twisting or flexing under pressure. This ensures perfect gear alignment and remarkable durability. Equipped with Okuma's Cyclonic Flow Rotor, which promotes faster drying to minimise corrosion, and a buttery-smooth multi-disc drag system, this compact 2000-sized reel provides flawless line management and refined drag needed to protect delicate 1-3kg fluorocarbon or braided lines against powerful runs from unexpected catches.
